Content
Today’s working world often requires creative solutions to complex problems. It is important to find solutions that suit everyone involved and, above all, satisfy the needs of the primary user groups. Design thinking is an approach that is ideally suited to such situations. These course days are aimed at managers and interested people who want to actively participate in finding solutions, lead and at the same time give the contributors a lot of creative freedom. We will go through a Design Thinking process using a real example and reflect on the applicability to areas of work familiar to the participants.
Learning Objectives
Participants will
- know the basic principles of Design Thinking as well as the Design Thinking process steps, including the definition of Design Thinking challenges
- know a Design Thinking process thanks to an applied process in the context of the training day
- know different Design Thinking methods and can assign them to the specific process steps
Preparation
Short pre-reading as a thematic introduction, in order to create a common basis for the course work (approx. 45 min preparation time).
Follow-Up
Individual implementation and deepening of the acquired knowledge.
Requirements
Curiosity and interest in Design Thinking, as an example of a creative approach of New Work.
